After posting the Vampire Intervention video the other day I was wary of posting yet another video that pokes fun at Twilight and/or one of it’s stars, but after watching this fake Kristen Stewart explain Christmas I couldn’t pass up on the opportunity. In this video a girl portraying Kristen Stewart explains the story of Christmas because Kristen Stewart had a magical baby in Breaking Dawn and so did Mary in the story of Jesus Christ.

Twilight’s Tinsel Korey to Takeover XBox on Twitter Tomorrow

Turns out Twilight actress Tinsel Korey will be taking over the Xbox twitter account tomorrow afternoon starting at 1pm PST and answer questions about Twilight, her music, and anything else you throw her way. Questions can be submitted via the @Xbox twitter account during the takeover as this is not being managed through her @tinselkorey account.

Growing Up Twilight

It’s hard to believe that it’s been three years since the start of the Twilight films and we still have one year to go before the Saga concludes. I was looking back at images from the films the other day as I wrote the Breaking Dawn What Plays When post and was amazed to see how much each of the actors have grown over the years. What’s even crazier is that many of you actually grew up with the Twilight Saga. You probably read the books early on and then grew with the films throughout high school.

This realization lead to a fun little project that looks at the evolution of Edward, Bella and Jacob and the growth of Rob, Kristen and Taylor. Below are morphs of each of the Twilight characters as they appear in various forms in the Twilight Saga movie posters. I hope you enjoy them, it’s amazing to see the evolution of these characters. Feel free to share them and use them as you wish!

KStew Err…Soup?

OK ok, I’ll admit it I’m only writing this for the clever title. That being said, it might be nice to get the recipe in print online other than in an image. Obviously by now you’ve heard and seen the hype surrounding Kristen Stewart’s February shoot in Vogue magazine. Well if that weren’t enough, the magazine also published her tortilla soup recipe. Their link is an image of the recipe from the magazine, but below is the breakdown of how to make it:

Soup
2 T vegetable oil
1 can diced tomatoes
1 yellow onion diced
2 jalapeño peppers chopped
2 bell peppers chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 T ground cumin
4 cups chicken broth

Condiments
2 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspons garlic salt
2 tablesppons chili powder
1 avocado, diced
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Fresh cilantro, chopped
2 flour tortillas
lime wedges

Directions:
Heat the oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Cook garlic, onion, and cumin for a few minutes, until the onions are translucent. Add bell peppers, cook until tender-2 to 4 minutes, stirring frequently. Stir in broth, tomatoes, and jalapeños. Bring to a boil ,then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes, stirring periodically. Cut tortillas into 2-inch wide strips, grill for a few minutes until toasted. Serve the soup in bows and top with condiments.

Kellan Lutz: Team Education

Sure, he’s matriculated a number of times as a teen vampire in the Twilight Saga films, but that doesn’t mean actor Kellan Lutz has lost his passion for education. The actor, who plays Emmett Cullen in the Twilight Saga movies spoke passionately at the National Mall earlier today as part of IGN’s list of 100 Best Communities for young people and to inspire children to stay in school.

Lutz spoke of his personal experience as a high school student in Scottsdale, Arizona, “I tried really hard in high school because my classes were free, it was a good education, and I had a ton of brothers to pick on me, so it was good to be out of the house and doing something productive.”

During his talk Lutz revealed that he was passionate about chemistry and math and had he not stumbled in to acting his ambition was to be a chemical engineer.

Anna Kendrick Among Stars to Grace the Pages of Elle’s 25th Anniversary Issue

According to the Wall Street Journal, Anna Kendrick, who plays Jessica Stanley in the Twilight Saga films, will be featured in an upcoming 25th anniversary issue of Elle magazine. This month’s special issue features 25 twenty-somethings, including Amanda Seyfried, Anna Kendrick, Lea Michele, Meghan McCain and Mila Kunis.

During the photo shoot photographer Carter Smith set up a video camera and interviewed the stars about some of their past birthday memories. You can view the video below:

Twilight Mom Elizabeth Reaser Joins the Cast of the Good Wife

According to TV Guide Elizabeth Reaser, most recently known for her role as Esme Cullen in the Twilight Saga films, will be joining the cast of the CBS legal drama The Good Wife. Reaser will star in a reoccurring role beginning in mid October playing Tammy, a sports writer who will serve as a new love interest for the character Will.

Teaser Trailer for Nikki Reed’s New Horror Film ‘Chain Letter’ Released

While I’m not a huge fan of Nikki Reed or the fact she was cast as Rosalie in the Twilight films, I am a huge horror fan, so when the teaser trailer for Nikki’s new movie hit the internet I was quick to check it out.

The new film titled, Chain Letter tells the story of six friends who each receive a mysterious chain letter via text message and email from a maniac who’s hunting down teenagers who fail to forward his online chain letter. Which makes it nothing more than your run of the mill horror flick just in time for Halloween.

The film will be distributed in limited release on October 1st, and you can view the movie trailer below.

How Robert Pattinson Could Make One Girls Dreams Come True By Following the Lead of True Blood

Let’s face it, a Robert Pattinson strip tease is enough to make any girl get a little weak in the knees, but if Robert Pattinson were to go to the lengths Stephen Moyer of True Blood did for charity, he would probably turn her into nothing more than a puddle.

In a recent effort to raise money for charity, True Blood star Stephen Moyer decided to auction off what’s being called, “The Sock of Destiny”. To put it more bluntly Moyer is auctioning off his “cock sock” that’s used to cover up his man unit during the filming of sex scenes.

This generous, yet outrageous act raised $1,650.00 for Gulf Aid via an eBay auction, and it got me wondering what sort of money Robert Pattinson would get if he did the same thing. With Melissa Rosenberg confirming that sex is being written into the script, one would only assume that Rob himself would wear a similar garment during the intense love scenes between him and Kristen Stewart. I would imagine that Rob Pattinson, having what I would perceive as a much more widespread audience, would raise significantly more money for the same item.

Billy Burke To Be On Hand To Honor Legend, Mayer, and ASCAP

Twilight actor and musician Billy Burke, has been announced as one of the many who will be on hand to honor musicians John Legend and John Mayer, as well as ASCAP, at a VH1 Save the Music Foundation gala presented by LG mobile phones.

Burke, who plays Charlie Swan in the Twilight movies is also an accomplished musician. His talents include the guitar and piano and his recently released album “Removed” has benefited VH1′s Save the Music Foundation.

In addition to Burke, New York City Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg and musical artist Natasha Bedingfield will be on hand to honor the contributions of Legend, Mayer, and ASCAP for donating their time, talent, and money to help further the foundation’s efforts.
