International Twilight Day Recipes
With International Twilight Day just 4 short days away I thought I’d take a moment to give a few fun recipe ideas that Twilight fans can use to enhance their International Twilight Day celebratory experience.

As a long time Halloweener, (Yes I said weener, laugh it up!) I’ve always been one to keep up on themed party ideas and recipes. Over the last year I’ve collected a handful of recipes related to the Twilight series and thought I’d take a moment to share them with you. Whether you’re gathering with friends to watch the Twilight DVD for the 500th time, or throwing an all out Twilight bash these treats are sure to liven up the occasion.
Scoop Me Off My Feet Dip
Ingredients:
TOSTITOS® SCOOPS!®
TOSTITOS® All Natural Salsa (1 cup)
2 cups frozen sweet corn thawed
1/2 cup canned black beans (rinsed thoroughly)
1 bunch green onions diced
1/2 of Avocado sliced
Juice of half a lime
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
Directions:
Combine all ingredients and toss well in glass bowl. Let sit for 30 minutes in the refrigerator. 1hr. to meld flavors. Spoon into TOSTITOS® SCOOPS!® and place on serving dish for elegant setting.
Werewolf Kibble (For you Team Jacob types)
Ingredients:
9 cups Rice Chex cereal
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
Directions:
Measure cereal into a large bowl, set aside.
In 1-quart microwavable bowl, microwave chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter uncovered on High 1 minute; stir. Microwave about 30 seconds longer or until mixture can be stirred smooth. Stir in vanilla. Pour mixture over cereal, stirring until evenly coated. Pour into 2-gallon resealable food-storage plastic bag.
Add powdered sugar. Seal bag; shake until well coated. Spread on waxed paper to cool. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.
To make this recipe look extra special, make peanut butter cookies rolled and cutout with bone shaped cookie cutters. Mix the small bone shaped cookies into your Werewolf Kibble mix. (You could also use bone shaped chocolate molds below for a cute mix-in.)
Serve in dog dishes or place in cellophane bags labeled “Werewolf Kibble”.
“Cold Ones” Love Potion (Though Edward Cullen never needed any sort of love potion to “Dazzle” Bella)
Ingredients:
10oz Wild Cherry Pepsi
2oz Chocolate Sauce
Whipped Cream
Directions:
Combine Wild Cherry Pepsi and Chocolate sauce and mix well. Pour
over ice and serve. Liquid yield 12oz. Suggested glassware: 22oz Tumbler.
Bloody Bella
Ingredients:
1 (46-ounce) can red punch (recommended: Hawaiian Punch)
1 (46-ounce) can apple juice
1 (48-ounce) bottle cranberry juice
1 (2-liter) bottle ginger ale
Ice cubes
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a large punch bowl. Add ice and stir.
For you adult Twilighters you can add 4 cups berry vodka and 1/2 cup orange liqueur to the mix.
Vampire Venom
This one is geared towards adult Twilighters specifically and is a Twilight themed variation of jello shots.
Ingredients:
2 (3 oz) packages red Jello
2 cups boiling water
½ cup cold water
2 cups Cinnamon Schnapps
Directions:
Bring water to a boil and remove from heat. Dissolve the Jello in boiling water, stirring at least 2 minutes until gelatin is dissolved. Add cold water and Cinnamon Schnapps. Add a drop of red food coloring, if you like. Pour the mixture into shot glasses or paper cups. Let sit in refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
I hope you enjoy some of these recipes and can incorporate them into your International Twilight Day celebration somehow. Of course you can also just take ideas from the books and film for inspiration as well!

i’ma assume that in “Cold Ones” the whip cream goes on top? I’m terribly clutzy in the kitchen, i’d probably mess even that up haha
and did you notice Victoria at the party? I noticed it in the movie – there she is, gambling away!
