International Twilight Day: Twilight Games
As promised I’m back today with some fun for all ages entertainment options for your International Twilight Day party or get together. So far we’ve covered some Twilight inspired recipes, and a Twilight drinking game, but today I want to open up the door to a few more entertainment options for you and your guests if drinking isn’t really your thing.

The first and probably easiest option available to you is the Twilight Board Game. The trivia board game based on the film and book takes you on a journey through the world of Twilight where you answer trivia questions and collect cards featuring various scenes from the film. The game is not very costly and depending on how well you know your twilight trivia it is definitely a challenge.
If the Twilight Board game is out of your budget or just not an item you can get your hands on in time your own Twilight trivia game will probably be just as sufficient. Partner with a friend and come up with a variety of Twilight related questions based on the film or books and see which Twilighter knows the most about our favorite fictional vampires.
Another fun game idea is a game of Twilight Who Said It. Gather up a handful of quotes from the book and see who can identify the most quotes. If you need a resource for quotes, Twilight Quotes is one of my favorite sites that has a TON of quotes categorized by both book and character.
If you’re looking for an excuse to get out of the house for a while during your Twilight celebration you might also consider a Twilight scavenger hunt. Dived your party into groups and create a list of various items related to the Twilight series that your attendees can seek out. Don’t make a list of items that are impossible to find. Try and mix it up a bit and make different items count for different point values. Set a time limit on the game and have the groups return to the party at that time. Have items on the lists such as: a red apple, a fork, something that sparkles, a picture of a piano, a wolf, a queen chess piece, vampire teeth, something cold, etc. The team who comes back with the most points based on their items wins.
Finally you might consider writing the names of characters on an index card. As your guests arrive pin or tape the character name on their back. As the party progresses other guests can give them hints about their character’s identity and see if they can guess it. First person to figure out who they are could win a prize, but the fun ultimately comes from the interaction between everyone while they are trying to guess.
These are just a handful of ideas you can work with. If you’re looking for something more traditional you could always do bobbing for apples or eating an apple hanging from a string. These are typically harvest and Halloween themed games, but since apples tie in with Twilight so well they may work for you International Twilight Day Celebration as well.
Tomorrow we are going to take a look at food again, this time focusing on Twilight fans who may be celebrating their International Twilight Day a bit more low key. This will be ideal for those of you who want to have a quiet intimate get together or perhaps celebrate with a significant other.

JacStar, I’m glad you’re enjoying the series. I wanted to do something fun leading up to International Twilight Day that was a little bit outside of the box for the site. I’ve always been big on themed parties and the like, so writing these posts and coming up with ideas was almost second nature.
I’m not sure if you caught the latest post or not, but maybe you can get Danny to enjoy an evening in with a Twilight inspired meal and the Twilight DVD. LoL
