Star Stalking, With Permission

May 25th, 2009 by Kristina

Now, as many conversations as the average Twilighter has on what is or is not stalking (so not getting into it again right now, omg) you would think that we would know if we were doing it or not. Really – can it be stalking if the stars themselves allow it?

Anyway.

Here’s a list of Twilight stars who have Twitter and Facebook and who actively utilize their accounts. Please note – to the best of my knowledge these ARE the actual stars, but you never know.

peterfacinelli_twitter_profileThe newest is our very own Papa Cullen, Peter Facinelli. This man is severely attractive and utterly adorable. He seems to be using his Twitter mostly for random updates, but he’s new to Twitter so we’ll see where he goes with it.

May I say, VERY tasty profile pic choice.

Also – the man seems to be obsessed with Yoga. I’d be willing to be we’re going to bet hearing a lot about Peter’s show Nurse Jackie, but how can you begrudge him a lil publicity? Anyway. Click on the link above or directly on the image to follow.

michaelsheenUp next is Volturi head honcho Aro, or rather, his human incarnation Michael Sheen. This boy (man) is a rare treat amongst the celebrity tweeting world! He frequently sends along TwitPics, often answers his @’s and generally keeps us updated on what he’s up to. I’m rather disappointed that he didn’t get to spend a lot of time on the New Moon set because he wasn’t afraid of making comments that sent this Twilighter into a tizzy – like how creepy Dakota Fanning as Jane looked.

Michael is often very witty so following his Tweets is more entertainment than stalking, lol. I can’t wait to hear from him when New Moon starts all its press. Mmm, there’s bound to be photoshoots galore!

jaimiebower Jamie Campbell Bower is last on the Twitter list. A little more snarky than his New Moon brother, our Caius is probably the most frequent Tweeter of the three. He also posts the most random, High-freaking-sterical Twit-pics of himself, including one during his sitting for his wig in New Moon.

Why are the Volturi brothers such teases? Le sigh, at the same time, le swoon.

Jamie also lets us know what’s hip in music in his most humble opinion. He’s a funny kid, and worth the follow.

gilbirminghamOn the Facebook side of things is relative Facebook newbie Gil Birmingham. As far as I can tell, his fan page is actually updated by him, a rarity in the Facebook world. You can find a page for most of the actors, and a seperate one of the characters they play (yes, of course I’m “a fan” of all of them :D ), but as far as I know, Gil is the only one who updates his own page.

Mostly, he seems to use it for publicity. I find it most helpful because he gives us a rundown of any appearences he’ll be making. As an added bonus, he’s posted pics of himself with the cast (love the images with Rob, Billy Burke and Peter), and some, dare I say it, TASTY pictures of him in previous pictures.

Le sigh – Yea, I think I have a tiny crush on Jake’s father now.  As a side note though, I still have to say it, Team Edward vs Team Jacob DILF competition – yea, Team Edward still wins, majorly. I mean, scroll up. /swoon. But in all seriousness, some of the pics he’s posted are sexy in their own right.

I know a number of the humans in particular have MySpace pages but I haven’t checked them out yet. Check back for an update on who to follow – with permission. ;) Don’t be fooled! Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have repeadedly verified that they do NOT have any type of social networking accounts.

Finally, you can follow us, WheresEdward, on Twitter for daily updates, news, Twilight treats and any discussion topics you want. We’re social people, feel free to send us an @!
