New Moon Speculation: Meet Jacob Black Trailer

Ok- so there's no speculation here, but I dare you to tell me you can stop watching these three seconds of the trailer. We all know where they are. Edward is sans shirt (and this isn't Breaking Dawn) means we're in Volterra. This is THE reunion kiss. Their desperation for each other can be felt even in those few moments. Thanks, trailer guys, for giving Team Edward this. You knew you had to or else the rest of the trailer (goteamjacob.com, my ass) would have driven us to rioting.

I really have very little idea what they're doing with Victoria in New Moon, so your guess is as good as mine as to what's going on here. Maybe she's showing off for her werewolf pals. "Ha, sure you might be able to run as fast as me, but let's see your furry ass catch this kind of air. See you, suckers." Oh, that Victoria, so ironical.

Again not really speculation as this is obviously Jane bringing Edward, Bella and Alice to Aro, but I'd like to point out Alec, I believe, who is standing next to the three thrones. Visable is Caius. You can tell it's him because of the white hair. Who wants to bet that Aro sits in the middle?

I'll be the first to tell you that I don't hate Jacob Black. That being said it is AMAZINGLY difficult to watch him be so close to Bella. This - this is almost too much. This has to be the near kiss riiiight before Edward calls. Now, I'm with you on this in that I literally screeched out loud when I first saw this, "IT DOESN'T GET THAT CLOSE IN THE BOOK!" But, after analyzing with my more rational mind, I understand Chris' choice here. In the book, Bella gets to tell us about her waivering affection, about how close she comes to thinking about making Jacob hers. In the movie, we have to be shown instead of told. Well - this shows it. Still, Edward better fucking call before his lips touch hers, or I am going to punch a werewolf in the face.

This right here breaks my heart. Poor Edward. He's a mess. This has to be during the scene where Aro is deciding what to do with our lovers. You can see Edward is in a borrowed cloak that's still partially open (yum). From Edward's, eh, shall we say, displeased face I'm betting someone is in the process of threatening Bella's life. Poor, stupid boy. It's painfully obvious how hard these months away from Bella have been. Amazing job with the make-up.

At first I thought that Jake might be talking to Bella during this moment. After all, he's pretty mean to her shortly after his transformation. But then again, I know that whole friendship break-up scene takes place in the rain, since Jacob is a proper little emo boy. This is very obviously in a house. By the colors, I would guess it's Bella's house. Jacob's expression is one of downright loathing, as if he's looking at his ancient enemy. As if he's looking at a vampire. My guess? He's talking to none other than Alice Cullen as she and Bella prepare to leave for Italy.
