New Moon Speculation – Why’s Jacob Running?

We here at Where’s Edward Cullen are, obviously, firmly Team Edward. But we’re not Jacob haters by a long shot. I mean, you can’t get to be a bratty, teenage werewolf with a plethora of bratty, teenage brothers without knowing how to take a good jest.

In other words, Team Jacob, take a chill pill. Jake can defend himself!

But in all seriousness, any ideas as to why he would be running in that scene? It obviously didn’t happen in the books. My speculation is a dramatization of his impending werewolf transformation.
