Shirtless Wars: Edward vs Jacob

Around here, we have many debates over the whole Team Edward vs Team Jacob conundrum. Personally, I am 100% Team Edward and todays lovely pictures of Robert Pattinson half naked just solidify that opinion for me. Yet the fact remains that some people prefer Jacob, and I am curious to know exactly what our readers think. Thus, We’re putting it to a vote!

While I’d prefer that both these clowns stop setting an unfair precedent for the rest of the men in the world who’s daily to-do lists include something other than “work out with personal trainer to get hot for movie I’m in”, in all fairness, the pics of that miserable whelp, Taylor Lautner don’t really do justice to the effort he’s put in. All that aside, if I were into guys (which I’m not), I’d still probably pic Robb Pattinson on principal alone – Edward is much more my style than the rash, though sometimes hilarious, Jacob.

@Jac Frickin A, Taylor is some kind of martial arts genius. Scary little kid – he could have beat me up at age 6 prolly.
As for the captcha, we’re looking into it. It catches potential spam. I figured out that if you come under a captcha your messages have to be approved before they are posted. Weird. We’re trying to fix it.

Hi Julie, glad you like the site and the design work. It took me a while to come up with the concept, but in the end the map highlighting Forks and Edward in the shadows of the forest seemed fitting for the name of our site.

Taylor wins this because…
Rob’s clearly got quite a bit of aid from make-up going on there. not only is he obviously paled out, but he’s clearly got a lot of stippled on shadows. I’m not saying he doesn’t have a decent body without it, but he’s clearly got some help there.

Lol, I’ll believe it’s all spray paint when I see the evidence. They had to put make up on him – he’s a vampire!
But I think the abs are real because his back muscles are also more defined. Yum.
And even if they weren’t I’d still take Rob shirtless over Jacob…because he’s still hotter. Although the puppy is … hot, no doubt.

I always thought the casting director did a poor job too book him as Edward. HE DOES NOT LOOK 17! He’s hairy, weird, has a deformed nipple, tries to pose too much and can’t act. Blahh. The movies are kinda ruined for me because of that.
Taylor-love however makes up for that just by lighting up the screen whenever he comes on and looking GORGEOUS and absolutely perfecting his role as Jacob. <3 He couldn't be better for the part!
So I'm pretty much Team Edward when reading the books and Team Jacob when watching the movies. And from what I hear more and more people are in that same vicinity too

I’ve never understood the whole vampire thing, myself. I’m not picky, but one of my minimum requirements is that anyone I get involved in have a pulse. Edward seems very whiny and overly dramatic. Why is it that when a movie vampire gets depressed it is brooding and sensitive, but when I do it is whiny and pathetic? Plus Edward’s makeup job in New Moon was awful.
I’m impressed by Taylor Lautner’s abs, and the graceful acrobatics he showed on Saturday Night Live.
Having said that, when you see him in a suit or that awful wig he looks wrong. His head is too big. Robert Pattinson looks better in a suit.

I voted for Taylor Lautner. Robert is cute, but Lautner is H-O-T! If you look closley during the shirtless scene on new moon when Robert is in Italy, you would be able to see that one of his nipples are bigger than the other one. i know you think that it is weird that I even looked there, but when a cute guy is SHIRTLESS, you gotta look at his abb’s, and then my eyes just came across it. Ok people Taylor lautner is way hotter then that bozo and Taylor doesn’t do crack. I do agree that Edward in the book is so sweet and loving and in my mind super hot but in the movie Robert is ugly and has no emotion I’m sure if I really get to know Robert he is nice but until I do in my mind he is the reason I don’t like Edward in the movie.
