Bella’s Birthday Dress
So a lot of people have commented on how much they like the green and black dress that Bella wears during the birthday scene in the New Moon film. So much so that it made its way into the style news section of the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly which is due to hit news stands July 17.
Unfortunately all you girls who were hoping to dress up like bella for your next school dance or for your own birthday will be disappointed to find out that the dress is not a designer dress you can buy off a rack, but in fact a one-of-a-kind dress created by New Moon costume designer Tish Monaghan.
Monaghan tells Entertainment Weekly, “It was supposed to be a gift from Alice, so I wanted something pretty that Alice would buy, but also something vintage that would be appropriate for Bella. We dressed it down with sneakers to keep the Bella flavor.”
Sorry ladies! Looks like the only way you’re getting your hands on this dress is if by some chance they auction it in the future.

That’s so awesome though. I love all their clothes in that scene. Now Bella has a custom dress to rival Edward’s custom peacoat.

Well…hmmm something is wrong about this article…u can buy a replica of bella’s bday dress,hottopic did have it but hello ppl there is the INTERNET.

Hi Shelb, yes, the dress is now available. However at the time this post was written last year the dress was not available and there were no intentions of releasing the dress to the public.
