Twilight Movie Location Map

After months of planning and a ton of research and map work we finally posted the Twilight movie location map on the Twilight page. Much like the Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn book location maps, the Twilight movie map is a Google Maps based map that displays locations related to the filming of the movie Twilight.

Mapping has always been a big part of the whole Where Is Edward Cullen idea, since the whole idea was to show where Edward is or has been. In this case we used research from the Twilight DVD
, Twilight: Director’s Notebook, and Twilight: The Complete Illustrated Movie Companion to map out locations that were scouted or used in the filming of Twilight. However rather than just dump a dot on a map and call it a night, we did a little bit of legwork with our maps. Not only do we give you the dot on the map, but where possible we give you the exact address and location. If that weren’t enough each dot has a back story as to where the location appears in the film or what it’s purpose was.

However, my most proud moment during creating this map was locating the exact location of the house used to portray Bella’s home in Phoenix. Catherine Hardwicke says in the Directors Notebook that the house was in Valencia, however upon closer examination of the photographs in the book I was able to determine the cross street the house is off of. With the help of Google Maps and the name of the cross street I was able to locate the home in nearby Santa Clarita. Below is a screen capture directly from Google Maps that shows the house. You can visit the Twilight Movie map to get the exact address of the home.
